今天，我隨著爸爸媽媽回到了老家。我剛一下車，就跑到了百花園去賞花了。花園里有端莊雅緻的牡丹，有秀氣淡雅的梨花，也有那香氣襲人的桂花。但我，則還是喜歡那從被人瞧不起的「含羞草」。它的葉片是碧綠的，由幾十片小葉子組成，像一個織布的梭子，中間有一根莖，把小葉子串起來。它每根枝頭上都帶刺，手不小心碰上了，就會出血。含羞草真像一個害羞的姑娘，只要在它的葉片上輕輕一碰，它就沿著這根莖合攏起來，葉片就會變得很細很細，同時枝條也跟著低垂下來，好象不敢見人似的。真好玩。它把美麗給人似的。真好玩，它把美麗給人們看，卻從不炫耀，這也就是我喜歡看它的原因吧。
我又順著小路向那小溪邊走去，在小溪的另一邊我發現了一種不為人知的草。它在路邊很不起眼，它被人們東一腳、西一腳地睬來睬去，身體上沾滿了灰，但它確實是令人驚嘆。它總共有三片也，每片葉的中間的莖都是彎的，兩片葉子是綠的，下面是紫的。上面有很多的澱粉，綠色部分沒有澱粉，紫色的部分的澱粉有很多，你只需用手輕輕一捏，紫色澱粉就會布滿你的手。可最另人驚奇的是，它的排列十分有趣，兩片綠葉在後，紫、綠葉在前，我想：這應該是紫、綠葉比較獨特，所以在前面，想讓人們全部去欣賞它，可總是無法美夢成真，而我卻是第一個欣賞它的人。
