如何上好英語閱讀課

對於大多數學生來說，閱讀是他們大量接觸英語的主要手段，又是提高英語能力的重要方面。那麼在課堂上我們應如何上好英語閱讀，更有效地提高學生閱讀能力﹖下面談談我的幾點做法。

一、善於提出導讀問題，激發學生的閱讀興趣。

在學生閱讀文章之前，我們要善於提出引導性問題，以提高學生閱讀興趣和目的性。閱讀導入包括提出問題，引出主題和交待閱讀任務。在學生閱讀前，我們要根據文章的話題，採用多種不同的方法進行閱讀導入。例如對於學生比較熟悉的話題文章，可以採用主題談話法導入文章。在閱讀前老師可間接引出文章的主題，提出一些有關問題，讓學生發表看法，使他們對問題既感興趣，又能正確回答。這樣就把文章由遠而近交給學生閱讀。對於學生一般了解的話題文章，在閱讀前我們可讓學生根據題目或圖片來推測文章的內容，然後讓學生進行簡短討論，以此指導他們帶著who，what，when，where，which，why，how等基本問題去閱讀。對於學生比較生疏的話題文章，老師可以直接明確地提出「導讀問題」，要求學生找出文章的中心意思，讓他們在閱讀前帶著問題去讀。

二、第一次閱讀要限時閱讀，培養學生略讀和猜讀。

限時是保證學生快速閱讀的有效手段。因此，在課堂上我們要求學生在第一次閱讀文章時要限時快速默讀或略讀。例如老師在堂上可這樣提出：「I』ll give you～mintues根據文章的難度及長短適當給出相應的閱讀時間to read the text silently and quickly．Then you should decide which of the three titles is the best for the passage．You can start now．」在限定閱讀時間結束時，老師可向學生提示：「Time is up．Now tell me which one is the best title for the passage﹖」，然後讓學生整體回答或個別回答。在學生得出文章的中心大意後，再讓他們回答導讀問題。
