英語二題型是英語知識運用、閱讀理解、英譯漢和寫作。
1、英語知識運用
主要是考查考生對英語知識的綜合運用能力。共20小題，每小題0.5分，共10分。在一篇約350詞的文章中留出20個空白，要求考生從每題所給的4個選項中選出最佳答案，使補全後的文章意思通順、前後連貫、結構完整。考生在答題卡1上作答。
2、閱讀理解

3、英譯漢

英語一英語二區別
考研英語二題型總體與英語一非常相近，考試時間180分鍾，滿分100分。試卷第一部分是英語知識運用，即常說的完形填空，總共10分，20題，每題0.5分。
第二部分是閱讀理解，這部分英語二和英語一考試方式略有不同。英語二閱讀理解分兩個部分，第一部分是常見的4選1選擇題，共4篇文章，每篇5道題，共40分。
