Ⅰ 培養孩子的英文耳朵讀後感
酷熱的夏天，你的女兒沖你來了一句：It『s boiling hot out there。Boiling？ 學了三十多年英文的你肯定會被雷到！熱就熱啦！哪怕你通過專外八級，哪怕你是博士？你可能最多用very 來形容，壓根沒有想到還有別的字可以用。
用這樣的自序開頭，同樣雷到了我！說實話，在啟蒙幼兒英文方面，我最怕的不是語音標准不標准，而是能不能這樣用地道的英語說話。於是，我在產生共鳴的同時，也更有願望繼續往下看。《培養孩子的英文耳朵》是汪培珽繼《喂故事書長大的孩子》後的第二本育兒經。第一本我沒看，因為在當今信息爆炸時代，育兒書籍比比皆是，不存在錯過哪本就會耽誤孩子教育的問題，而豎著排版的書會浪費我的很多時間，所以我沒耐心去看。
不過看完《培養孩子的英文耳朵》，我還是感觸良多。書上基本上回答了在應試模式下學習英語的父母們對啟蒙孩子英語的困惑。書的最後還專門列出了重要的Q&A，闡述作者的主張和看法。這里只挑幾條我個人覺得比較欣賞巧旅的幾段吧！
一、怎樣為孩子念英文書？
父母為孩子念英文書的顧慮很多，比如發音不標准，比如孩子能不能聽懂？比如是一句中文，一句英文的翻譯，還是需要加上很多中文解釋幫助孩子理解？念之前要做哪些准備工作。..。..這些在文中都可以找到作者的觀點和建議。更為重要的是，作者提醒大家：教育孩子先不要只想著如何和別人一樣，而是要先幫孩子立定「對的方向」。至於目標何時達到，可能只是早一點活晚一點的問題。
二、孩子聽的是故事而不是英文
「英文耳朵」是目標，可是促成目標的動機和興趣，卻與英文一點關系都沒有。真正引發孩子聽英文故事書的動機和興趣--是故事，而不是英文。
作者列舉了好幾個小故事告訴我們，很多時候，孩子們的故事，結局是什麼一點也不重要，重要的是在這中間的人生智慧。比如「Lucky bats won』t do it.Lucky helmets won『t do it.Only hard work will do it.」（幸運棒沒有用，幸運帽也沒有用，只有努力才有用）。孩子有沒有學到英文不要緊，只要將這句話聽進心坎里，一生受用。
三、聽、說、讀、寫，請按照順序
一聽二說三讀四寫，是人類學孝彎凳母語的次序，也是語言學習的自然法則。讓孩子快速識字、讀字，甚至寫字，可以撫慰一些「擔心孩子未來競爭力」的父母，也是教育機構向父母展現成果的最有利證據。但是，循序漸進才是教養的正確方向，也是幫助孩子保持學習興趣的最自然方法。雖然，幫孩子念英文故事書，讓孩子聽英文故事，一時之間、甚至是兩三年內，都可能看不到具體成果，然而「聽」是語言學習上很重要的基礎器，孩子還沒走穩就想著要他跑，有時是累了父母、苦了孩子，得不償失。
四、作者的私房書單
為什麼書單上前幾個階段的書，名家繪本的比例不大，反倒是設計給國外小學生的讀本較多？這是因為作者買書後，慢慢摸索出來的自然結果。由於這些讀本是按照孩子的程度來規劃、排序，無論內容與用字的難易度，都是循序漸進的，這對於想要利用念故事書讓孩子學英文的父母來說，是最有安全感的選擇。而童書繪本則不同，用詞遣句的難易度常是高高低低、跳上跳下，很難掌控。
書單上的書都是英文原版，比如《An I Can Read Book》這個系列，我在亞馬遜、淘寶網上都能搜索得到，於是特別記下，考慮是不是以後也買上幾本回來看看。
五、為什麼要學英文？
英文是國際語言，學它就是要用來當溝通工具，那要和什麼溝通呢？
（1）人：所以我們要「會聽」、「會說」的能力
（2）書本，也就是資訊：所以我們要「能讀」「能寫」的能力
我們第一代的英文教育第一項是失敗的，第二項呢？成功了嗎？英文考高分的鬧旁同學，後來有多少人會主動去看英文書？就好像這么多學琴的孩子，最後又多少人會繼續將彈琴當成一輩子的興趣？難道我們的後代學英文的目的還是為了應付考試？
總的來說，即使你不贊同這本書上的育兒觀點和作者關於幼兒學英語的經驗總結，至少作者列出了一大堆英語原版書單，而這些都是值得收藏的。

【An I Can Read Book】
Harper Collins所出的系列讀本。這樣的標題會出現在每本書的封面上方。它其實是國外設計給不同年齡孩子的讀本，依照程度分成不同階段。在此只列出我喜歡而且曾經反復幫孩子念過的收藏，故事本本精采，不容錯過。有些很適合有基本英文聽力的小學生，甚至中學生，因為故事有趣，主題多樣化，夠吸引孩子，有附錄音帶的版本更是讓孩子習慣聽英文的好幫手。
第一階段（ 0－2歲）
書標頭An I can read book（level 1），32-64頁，每頁1-3句話，每句話平均6、7個字。

此系列雖已開始跳脫小孩的簡單句型，但程度不難，如果孩子已經小學中、高年級，有基本英文聽力，想要激發他們聽英文故事的興趣，可從此系列開始，而且都附有錄音帶可反復聽取。

美國作家Barbara Park用詼諧幽默的筆觸將小小女生Junie B Jones從學前班到一年級階段熱鬧童真有趣的「大事件」一一栩栩如生地展現在讀者面前。小女孩朱尼有點好動，有點任性，有點淘氣，偶爾還會小搗蛋，對世界充滿了好奇和一知半解，精力旺盛，經常惹麻煩，常令大人頭痛卻又不禁莞爾。書中使用了大量童言童語，故意保留了很多學齡孩子交談或讀寫時的一些拼讀語法錯誤。建議孩子把語法學好了再看，省得被帶歪了。收有27本及音頻。
