話說松鼠在森林裡新開了一家店，專門賣堅果，生意一直很不錯，可是有一天，放在店裡的全部堅果，突然,一下子全不見了，怎麼回事?
松鼠急急忙忙地找小狐狸，說：「小狐狸，小狐狸，我的堅果全不見了，你幫我找一下吧！」
「也許你賣光了！」小狐狸一邊啃著胡蘿卜，一邊說。
「沒有，沒有，我昨天記得，還有滿滿一大筐呢！」松鼠連連搖頭，心急如焚。
「那我們一起去找一下吧！」說完，兩個小夥伴一起去森林裡找堅果。
開始找啦！
在廁所邊上，他們遇到了屎殼郎小姐，趕緊問：
「屎殼郎小姐，昨天半夜，你有沒有看到一大筐堅果？」
屎殼郎小姐搖搖頭。
他們找呀找，在公共淋浴室，他們遇到了大象伯伯，趕緊問：「大象伯伯，昨天半夜，你有沒有看到一大筐堅果？」
大象也搖搖頭。
小夥伴絕望了。
小狐狸說：「別找了，算了吧！」
松鼠想了想，點點頭，兩個人無精打採的回到了堅果店。
忽然，小狐狸在地上發現一串腳印，他驚喜地說：「哇！這不是臭鼬大哥的腳印嗎？」
松鼠看到了，高興地說：「小狐狸，你真是大偵探，現在一起跟著腳印找吧！」
兩個小夥伴跟著一串腳印，走到了一個洞穴，敲敲門，沒開，松鼠趕緊打電話給黑貓警長，不到一分鍾，黑貓警長就到了，他拿著手槍，說：「裡面的小偷，你已經被包圍，請馬上打開門！」
這時，門開了，他們立刻走進洞，哇啊-------那麼那麼多堅果，塞滿了整整一個房間。
這時，臭鼬只好把門打開了。大家立刻走進洞，哇！洞里那麼那麼多的食品，塞滿了整整一個房間，不僅有松鼠的堅果，還有兔媽媽的胡蘿卜、小熊的蜜糖······
被偷的堅果終於找到了！可是松鼠卻難過地說：「沒想到臭鼬大哥平時那麼好，結果偷堅果的卻是他，真是知人知面不知心啊！」
黑貓警長把臭鼬帶走了，偵探小狐狸把臭鼬偷的食品還給了大家，從此森林裡再沒有東西被偷了。感謝黑貓警長！感謝偵探小狐狸!是他們保衛了森林的安寧！
