這是我收集到的技巧。

（1）利用段首句或文章第一段把握文章的主題，最大限度地獲取信息。一般來說，第一句是無需填空的完整句，往往也是文章的中心句或引導句，它的時態往往決定了全文的時態，它可為幫助考生理解文章大意提供重要線索。段首句應當成為認真閱讀和仔細推敲的重點句子。許多英語文章每段的開頭都是用以說明文章中這一段落主題的一個主題句，其他句子都圍繞這個主題展開。正確理解段落的主題句對理解整個段落乃至順利理解整篇文章都是很有幫助的。

（2）聯繫上下文把握文章的發展線索。完形填空文章多為說明文，有時也出現一些記敘文。說明文通常採用列舉理由、舉例、比較或對比、因果關系、過程的描述、事實或數據等方法對事物進行說明。閱讀時，要特別注意對連片語句的語法功能詞的理解和把握。記敘文大多是按時間先後順序寫成的，著重事情發生的先後順序的情節敘述。在議論文體中，文章的主題句常常出現在開始和結尾，用來概括點明段落或文章的中心，或交代作者的觀點、立場和態度。通讀全文時考生要注意表達不同邏輯關系的如下連詞：

①表示時間：now /then /afterwards /later /soon /before long.

②表示空間順序：first /secondly /far/above /below /near /beside /to the right /onone』s side.

③表示目的：for the reason/for the purpose /so that/ in order that.

④表示對照：but /however /on thecontrary /yet /on the other hand.

⑤表示結果：thus /otherwise /therefore/as a result / so /seeing that.

考生可利用這種連詞線索辨別主題句、擴展句、作者的觀點以及證明該觀點而提供的事實或例證等所處的位置。這樣，考生就能迅速理解層次之間的關系，准確選擇相應的連接方式，為准確地恢復文章思路發展中所缺少的信息做好准備。

（3）利用語法知識，尋找正確線索。盡管完形填空測試的是考生綜合運用語言的能力，但扎實的語法基本功是准確運用語言的基礎。考生在選擇答案時，要結合上下文來確定相關內容的句法關系，是簡單句、並列句還是復合句，是定語從句還是狀語從句等。如果屬於語法類的選擇項，讀者可根據上下文的要求，運用排除法、擇優法等技巧選擇合適的答案；如果屬於詞彙類的選擇題，讀者可根據語法來判斷詞性，再根據對全文的理解進一步推測詞的語義范圍。通過這些技巧來選定適合上下文所需要的詞。

（4）利用詞彙知識選擇最佳答案。完形填空部分的選擇項大部分都是詞彙類選擇題，涉及面也較廣，如近義詞的辨析，同義、反義詞的掌握，構詞知識的了解，詞彙的習慣搭配，過去分詞和現在分詞等等。這不僅要求我們要掌握某一個詞的字面意思，而且要把握某類詞的固定搭配以及詞與詞之間的細微差別，以及某個詞在具體語境中的含義等。
