Most English people have three names: a first name, a middle name and the family name. Their family name comes last. For example, my full name is Jim Allan Green. Green is my family name .My parents gave me both of my other names.

People don’ use their middle names very much. So “John Henry Brown” is usually called “John Brown”. People never use Mr, Mrs or Miss before their first names. So you can say John Brown, or Mr Brown; but you should never say Mr John. They use Mr, Mrs or Miss with the family name but never with the first name.

Sometimes people ask me about my name. “When you were born, why did your parents call you Jim?” they ask.” Why did they choose that name?” The answer is they didn’t call Jim. They called me James. James was the name of my grandfather. In England, people usually call me Jim for short. That’s because it is shorter and easier than James.

The lion, zebra, giraffe, pregnant hippo is living in the zoo when they’re a small. So they don’t know how to live, but they are not obsolete. But they adapt themselves to circumstances . Quickly, they become the stronger in the Madagascar. And is time to go back to their home.

第二部:Casablanca《北非谍影》
故事梗概：It is a love story ring the World War the second. An American man, Rick Blaine runs the most popular nightspot in Casablanca. When Nazi Major Strasser arrives in Casablanca, the sycophantic police Captain Renault does what he can to please him, including detaining Czech underground leader Victor Laszlo. To Rick’s surprise that he found Lazslo’s wife is his one time love. But at last she explained to him what happen that she refused to go with him by train in Paris. And he thought it is a good reason, so he consent to she’s petition. At last, Ilsa and Laszlo get away from Casablanca by plane.

故事梗概：There is a chicken little, ugly cking, fish out of water, runt of the litter, chicken little’s father. Chicken Little is a small chicken who is a little bit too imaginative. But there is no doubt that it is very amiable. One day there is an acorn falling to the ground. But the chicken little thinks that it is the sky. So this cause widespread panic. People don’t want to believe him any more. So he want to do something to restore his father’s reputation. He decided to join the baseball game. But the baseball is only a little smaller than the chicken little. So he’s father don’t want to believe in him. But at last, nobody must believe that the chicken little really win at this game. After the game, there is really a piece of sky is falling . Chicken little didn’t tell his father because he afraid of his father to say it isn’t impossible. But when chicken little thinks that his son is right. So he united with his son and his friend to save the world. Quickly, the chicken little become the hero .

不知道你上初几了，其抄实英语书的课文里就穿插了几部不错的，比如说《汤姆索亚历险记》，《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》都很适合7，8年级读，当然，如果你的词汇量大，觉得太简单的话还可以看看<金银岛>,〈小妇人〉，〈父与子〉，这些很适合初三毕业后闲暇时候去读，如果想继续提高一个英文水平的话也可以试试〈雾都孤儿〉不过这一般到高三或大学才能够流利阅读哒。呵呵，至于具体选哪一本，就看你的情况而定咯。不过我觉得读名著最重要的不是应付差事，细细品味其中的文字才是最好的效果，同时你的英语水平也会在不知不觉中提高许多呢！
