孩子学习一门语言的最佳年龄就是现在，当然，越早越好。如果恰巧错过最佳年龄，也不用着急，因为任何时间段都可以开始进行学习，只不过孩子的听力发育在12岁之前是最佳。可以有效帮助学习语言。

启蒙阶段，以听为主，不要怕他听不懂，先让他的耳朵浸泡在英语环境。固定时间段，坚持听。孩子在牙牙学语阶段，也是从听不懂开始。这个听力习惯建立好了，就可以开始进行第二项习惯培养，就是让他模仿 。最好的老师就是家长，你在开始教他说话的时候，或手舞足蹈，或夸张嘴型让他模仿。这个阶段就是听和说，输出和输入同步进行。

小学阶段，课本内容同步跟进，一般内容不会太难，这一阶段除了会朗读，慢慢加入背诵内容，背诵可以用场景背诵的方法，家长陪同角色扮演会事半功倍。这个阶段对单词的默写不要太强求，做到看到会读就可以，重点培养口语交流，可以相应增加一些亲子类口语课程，这类书籍和网络课程很多，可以进行学习，然后应用到日常生活中。比如早上好，快起床，要迟到啦，今天你想吃些什么等等，经常使用，孩子自然也会输出了。

英语学习应该避免为了考试而学习。现在的学校教育，课外班等考级类学习班，还停留在单个字母背单词方法，啃语法等枯燥式学习，这样的学习作为成人都难以坚持，何必为难孩子？

英语学习从兴趣入手，听说读写的顺序慢慢进入，家长陪伴式学习为主，在寻找辅导班时，需要进行多方位考察，比如教学形式，教师资质等，避免“托管式”学习，则能提高孩子语言学习效率。

家长应该抓住孩子学习的时机，学习语言越早开始越好，如果恰巧耽误了，那么就从现在开始吧。
