Speaking of bicycle, some people think ithas outdated in many big cities. However, some people think that it is stillpopular for them because people can exercise themselves by riding bicycle. Forme, I think people can get lots of benefits from riding bicycles.
First, we can become healthier by ridingbicycles. Since people are busy with works, they have almost no time to doexercise. But if they ride bike to work, then they can practice themselvesquite often. Consequently, they will be healthier.
Secondly, bicycle is good for ourenvironment. In almost all big cities, the average temperature is a bit higherthan countryside for there are too many car emissions there. We all know thatpeople in big cities like to drive cars to go to work rather than taking publictransportations. Therefore, our environment is polluted by lots of emissions. If more people join in the trend to ride bicycles to work, then our air qualitywill be improved obviously.
In conclusion, riding bicycle not only can makeus healthier but also it is good for protecting ourenvironment. So, we should encourage more people to ride bicyclesquite often than driving cars.
Should We Approve of Dating in University?
Now it is commonly held that dating inuniversity is acceptable, which has become a hot point under discussion. Somepeople hold the opinion that students should put their study in the first place. Besides, fall in love with someone could causes extra spending, which is aburden for students and their parents. While others argue that dating could begood for students.
Forone thing, dating could help student learn how to be more socialize. Now thephenomenon is not rare to see that students only show up in classroom, dormitory and refectory, this triangle model makes students have less chance tomake now friends that will probably lead to social apathy. For that reason, weshould approve of dating in university, so that students could have more motivepower to go out to find someone who is fit in them. Obviously, the ability ofsocialize will be promoted by osmosis.
Foranother, there is an old saying which goes that men and women with the work andnot tired. It is true that when a couple work or study together, they will feelless exhausted, because we always want to show our best side to the one welove. Besides, student couple study together is more efficient, for they havethe same target and they will encouraged each other.
Taking all these factors into account, we should approve of dating inuniversity. It could make college life more vividly, enrich student’s lifestyle and help them to be more socializing.
Should We Encourage Rural Children to go to University?
Recently, an opinion from a representative of NPC &CPPCC has aroused a heated discussion all over the country. He said we should not encourage rural children to go to university, because almost all of them will not go back to their hometown. As to this opinion, I can’t see an eye to eye to it, I have several reasons to support my view.
In the first place, going to university is an excellent way to receive higher ecation, which is very important for one’s scholarly attainments. Many people think Society University is much better than regular university, for people could learn actually things that they can use in society after they graated from university. However, this society’s job opportunity is a big fan of a higher degree employee.
In the second place, as the representatives says, children who go to university randomly go back to hometown, hence, they should not go to university. If all the children do what the representatives said, they don’t go to university, just stay in hometown, doing the things like their ancestors. What a disaster, the country never develops in this way. A country only develops with new knowledge. Besides, not all of the students didn’t want to go back to hometown, they just want to make more money to offer their parents a better life.
On the whole, we can’t encourage rural children not to university just because they might not go back to hometown after they graated. We should encourage them to go to university to receive higher ecation, it is for them and the country’s own good.
Should We Put A Limit on Private Cars?
With the rapiddevelopment of Chinese economic and the improvement of living standards ofordinary people, more and more private cars are on road. Some people thinkprivate cars can bring great convenience to the owners while others argue thatgovernment should put a limit on private cars. In my humble opinion, we shouldput a limit on private cars.
First of all, themore private cars, the more traffic jams. If people stuck on a traffic jam, itwill cost them a lot of time, some people even late for work. What’s more, nowadays finding a parking spot is much harder than before because there aretoo many cars on streets. Sometimes you just arrive at the destination, but youjust cannot find a place to park your car. The place is so crowded that youhave to park in other place which may be far away from your destination.
Secondly, theprice of gasoline and repairs are constantly rising, not to mention the pricesfor the insurance and the fear of being stolen. If you do not make enoughmoney, you can barely pay for the fees of the cars. This can cause great burdento your daily life.
Last but notleast, the cars proce tens of thousands of carbon dioxide, which will creategreenhouse effect and other serious environmental pollution. Someenvironmentalists predict that in the next few years, the ozone layer willfully disappear and will increase the rate of getting skin cancer. And the airwe breathe in is not as pure as before, do we really need to sacrifice ourfuture to enjoy the so called convenience?
Due to thesereason, I think people should think twice before they buy a private car. Weshould not only consider the increasing cost of owning a car, but also shouldthink about the future we have. It’s not only a personal thing, but also thewhole country, the whole world.
A Mixed Class is Preferred
“In myclass, there are two Japanese and one American. We are getting along well andit’s fun to study together with people from different cultures.” This is how acollege student describes his class. Recently with rapid development ofeconomy, China is embracing more foreign students who are eager to learnChinese and know about Chinese culture. In my opinion, a mixed class is morepreferable to an exclusive one in terms of benefits of both foreign and Chinesestudents.
I have reason to support my view. Foreignstudents may find it very helpful to further improve their language skills in amixed class. Provided that their Chinese is competent enough to follow thelectures, a mixed class furnishes them with a golden opportunity to brush uptheir Chinese proficiency and understand Chinese people. Only in this way canthey get into closer contact with Chinese. Coming from afar, they are reluctantto be separated and treated as “ foreigners”. Hence to their benefits, weshould not set barriers for their deeper involvement. Only by mixing withChinese students can they gain a better knowledge of Chinese culture.
Taking into account of all these factors, wemay arrive at the conclusion that it is beneficial to adopt the practice of amixed class. A seemingly trivial event as it is in study, it may exert aprofound impact on both students’ indivial life and cross-culturalcommunication.
The Gap Between the Rich And the Poor
It has been obvious that Chinese economy developed so fast thanks to the policy of Open and Reform. The main cities such as Beijing,Shanghaiand Shenzhen have become Chinese highly developed areas. While the problem comes, at the same time, the small cities is less rich, the people there is poor. The people in the main cities are much richer than whose in the small cities, the unfair situation makes some poor people hate the rich, they score what the rich do.
In china, there is no doubt that the gas between the rich and the poor has become larger, most of the fortune is owned by the rich, though the poor is working very hard, they still can’t change their situation. The number of the poor occupies most, while the rich is only a small group, as a result, the poor begin to query the society, they have the idea that no matter how hard they work, they are still the same. Such situation frustrates the workers, the unfairness let them hate the rich from their hearts.
The government has noticed the situation long time before, they try hard to balance the gas between the rich and the poor, they emphasize the fairness and carry out some relative policies.

Bicycle riding has many advantages. It is the least expensive way of traveling apart from walking. If you travel by bicycle, you don't have to buy gas as you must when you drive cars. Besides, it develops much less mechanical troubles than a car.
bicycle riding is especially good for health. It is good exercise. If you go to work by riding a bicycle instead of driving or taking a bus, you can have a better chance of getting enough exercise you need everyday. Bicycling is also good for our environment. It is less noisy and does not pollute the air. I am glad to have ridden a bicycle to school when I studied in the middle school.

Those who walk to work experience major health benefits too, but not to the same degree as people using their bike, experts found.
Dr Carlos Celis-Morales, from the University of Glasgow which carried out the research, said: “This may be because walkers commuted shorter distances than cyclists, typically six miles per week, compared with 30 miles per week and walking is generally a lower intensity of exercise than cycling.”
The study found that compared with driving or taking public transport, cycling to work is linked to a 45% lower risk of developing cancer. It was 46% for cardiovascular disease.

Researchers found that walking to work was associated with a 27% lower risk of developing cardiovascular disease. But it did not significantly rece the likelihood of getting cancer.
There were also some health advantages to cycling part of a journey. Dr Jason Gill, from the university, urged the government to make it easier for people to commute by bike, including creating more cycle lanes and bike hire schemes.
He said it would generate "major opportunities for public health improvement".

现在最被各大院校接受的险种是来自ACE Europe的IPS(International Passport for Students)。

And Mayor Goedejohann is confident. His town averaged 50 accidents last year. Since the shared space concept was enacted (通过), there haven't been any, he says.
