Chapter 1 The Newspaper
在教室里，辛苦且漫长的一天，克兰博老师看上去很累。
“马基”她摇着她的头说道，“你一整天都没听我说。我应该给你惩罚……但我有个更好的主意”
噢，不！我讨厌她说她有更好的主意。
“我要你下个月去帮助学校报社。”她说。
“报社！”我抱怨着。
我可能会有多的风趣的故事，但是我真的不擅长其他任何事情，我在报社有什么用？
在报社工作意味着和Tilly Turner 一起工作。
Tilly是编辑，也是记者而且和我不同。她擅长于任何事情。
“那啥，Magee，”你认为我们下一周应该放哪一种类型的故事？“
Tilly 问我，当我们走到报社房间。
我耸了耸肩。
我从没读过报纸。
“目前为止我们有关于宠物的，关于新教师，还有一些关于Cramble老师的布谷鸟钟收藏品的故事。”她继续说道。
“真的？”我说。
我从没读过报纸，这是毫无疑问的。

Chapter 2 Good Headline
“这儿是有一个故事。”我对Tilly说道。
“我现在能见得头条新闻了：糟糕的Brad在办公室偷东西！”
TIlly盯着我摇了摇她的头，“我并不认可，Magee。现在，我需要一些关于饼干制作比赛的有益的东西。”
“饼干制作者拿了第一名，”我叫道。
Tilly眨了眨她的双眸。
“跟我来，Tilly，”我说道，“如果我们没有有趣的故事，我们至少会有一些好的头条新闻。”
到了周五下午，我开始喜欢工作于报社。我想出许多头条新闻，尽管Tilly说我们真的不得不有故事。
当Tilly飞奔进报社房间时，我正在写一个故事。“我刚再次看见他！”她叫道。

Chapter 3 Following The Story【跟随着故事走】

“看上去他丢了一些他应该捡起的东西。”我低声说。
“让我们去看看那是什么。”当Brad在校门口消失了的时候，Tilly说。
当我们去到树篱，Tilly弯下腰推开一些树叶。那里有Brad 的夹克，里面藏着两个学校办公室的笔记本电脑。
Chapter 4 SNAPPED！
当天黑之后，Brad返回捡起电脑。
当他察觉到我们在他身后时，他正在弯下腰去拿在树篱底下的夹克。
在我的相机拍下他的时候他正转过来看着我们。
在我的一生中我从未见到任何人看上去这样惊恐-特别是Cramble老师带着俩警员做出黑暗的地方时。
Tilly带着她的录音机向前冲过去。
“Brad Biggens，你有什么想说的吗？”
“我被陷害了！”他尖叫着，当警员带走他的时候。
