英语水平中上等的老师，可以考虑以下的做法：
1 在第一节课就告诉学生课堂指令的英文说法。例如“翻开书”，“拿出练习册”，“下课”，“请听录音”这样的话，第一节课就告诉学生。我相信即使是初级水平的同学，也可以结合上课情景猜出意思。这个部分做到之后，你的课堂就会增加很多有意义的英文输入。
2 自己在家试着先用全英文把课讲一遍。请相信我，很多英语老师有幻觉，自己以为英语很好，结果10分钟之后舌头就打结了。当你发现自己演练时有不会的词，自己查一下。
3 常使用英英字典，用苹果电脑的老师，你们电脑的右上角的小小放大镜就是一个很好的字典，直接输入单词，苹果电脑就会给出英文的解释。这样的做法可以帮你积累用英文解释英文的能力。

3 别把老师逼得太紧，你让他们全英文了，他们讲了一大堆生僻词，学生听不懂，就更郁闷。

2 真正判断一个好老师的标准，是这个老师是否让你上课张口说话。英语只能自己张嘴说才能说好，而这个过程很可能是痛苦的，好老师就是让你不那么痛苦的人。好多看上去很美的老师让你听了好多大道理，可你依然说不好英语。
3 请记得“有效的教学”这个概念。不管是英文、中文，让你张嘴会说的方法就是好方法，让你提高了分数的就是好方法，让你喜欢上英语的方法也是好方法。
