技巧一：選詞填空
首先，預覽選項，了解詞義並把選項分為四大類詞性——名詞n，動詞v，形容詞a，副詞ad。在每個選項後作詞性的簡要標記；
其次，精讀全文開頭，把握文章主題，並以三個空或一個段落為一個單位，利用前後文判斷每空的詞性；最後，把對應詞性的選項逐一帶回原文，含義通順，時態、主謂搭配一致的為正確選項。
技巧二：快速閱讀
讀題干並確定關鍵詞(中心詞)--去原文中定位關鍵詞--分析定位句--分析題干--確定答案。 首先用「打包」方法對付亂序，把整組題全部一次性吃透，然後去原文從頭到尾定位。否則，考生如果按順序逐題解答，時間會嚴重不足，最好是文章一遍看下來，能找到所有的信息。
此外，考生應該注意定位原文的過程中，一定要腦、眼和手並用:眼是肯定要用的，不用腦會導致忽視同義轉換，不用手(筆)會使我們處於走馬觀花的狀態，然後會懷疑自己是不是漏掉了信息而不停地看。
技巧三：「吃透」題干
准確判斷關鍵詞(中心詞)至關重要。如果沒吃透題干，就無法准確判斷關鍵詞或中心詞，就可能對原文中的重要信息沒感覺。一般來說，題干關鍵詞或中心詞為實詞以及一些數字、專有名詞等。
技巧四：先易後難
採用由易到難的解題策略，可以提升考生的解題信心。對於那些答題線索較少的題干細節信息，考生可留在最後再解答。在解答這類較難的題目時，考生可快速閱讀原文中仍未選過的段落的主題句(通常為第一句、第二句或最後一句)，之後根據段落大意與題干中的細節信息進行匹配。
技巧五：略讀文章
略讀文章最關鍵的一點就是迅速、准確的閱讀第一段內容，因為第一段通常會告訴我們作者將要討論的話題和主旨。然後閱讀下面各段的第一句話，以對每個段落的內容有大概的了解，然後再閱讀最後一段，以幫助我們對文章內容進行概括，或了解作者的評價、態度等。

之後再仔細瀏覽選項，將對應的文章句子查找出來並標好記號，方便之後檢查，因為之前大致瀏覽過一邊，所以找起來不會很難。找到後，注意結合上下文來理解，不然可能會誤選。
