1).主題句的特點
從結構上講,主題句常用「主語+系詞+表語」的主系表結構。主語是主題,表語是中心思想的概括。當然也可以使用其他結構。
從意思上講,主題句比較籠統,概括,不涉及具體事實。
2).主題句的功能
a.從作者這方面講,主題句有助於更緊密地組織文章內容,使文章中的每一句話都要圍繞著主題句展開。
b.從讀者這方面講,主題句有助於更迅速,更清楚地理解文章的內容。
3,做題指導
(1)把此類問題留在最後。因為回答其它細節性問題後,自然就會對文章大意有一定的了解。
(2)找出文章中心思想句。要把注意力放在閱讀材料的開頭和結尾。放在觀點性、歸納性和概括性的句子上,放在被許多句子說明和證實的句子上。
(3)找出各個段落的主題句。主題句有以下幾個特徵:①它是概括全段思想的句子;②一般出現在段首,其次是段尾,有的出現在段落當中;③它表達的是觀點,而不是事實。
(4)注意由in summary,in a word,as a result,finally,in short,in conclusion和in brief等「信號詞」引導的句子。
