關於英語寫作，很多同窗都問過這個問題：教員，假定我堅持用英語寫日記，對進步英語寫作有輔佐嗎？輔佐是有的，不過不像一些人想像的那麼大。由於假定我們每次寫作都在同一言語水平寫，而不留意隨時的積聚，進步速度就會比較緩慢。不過，還有種人走另一個極端，就是覺得自己寫的不好，所以就從不動手寫文章。總是自己悶著頭寫和總是仰著頭不寫，這兩種方式都不可取。最好的辦法就是邊學邊寫。

這里引薦大家採用一種行之有效的練習方法，就是模仿寫作。模仿寫作類似於、但不同於漢譯英。模仿寫作央求文章本身是原汁原味的英語文章，同時有比較地道的漢語翻譯。我們在鍛煉的時分，先不要看英語原文，而是看著翻譯過來的漢語，先把它翻回英文。之後再和英語原文對照。有比較就有鑒別。經過這種比較，我們就能夠覺得出，同樣一個意義，人家用那個詞，那樣的句型表達，為什麼比自己寫的好。這比單純的背誦人家寫好的英語範文，或者自己埋頭苦寫，不去積聚，效果要好很多。這個方法很簡單，但關於進步寫作水平非常有效。

寫作中重要的構成要素，除了言語以外，謀篇規劃的邏輯其實是很重要的。也就是我們經常說的「思想」。假定我們按照中國人的言語和文化習氣去寫，寫出來的文章西方人有時分是看不明白的。固然寫作沒有固定格式，以有效表意為中心要素。但不管一開端練習寫作時我們的文章規劃有多呆板，以後的行文有多自如，有一個准繩是我們從始至終都應該把握的，就是自己說的觀念，自己要提出論據來證明。我給這種准繩起了個名字，叫橫豎准繩。「橫」是大家的觀念，「豎」是證明觀念的論據。論據要細節化，不要用一個觀念去證明另一個觀念，用一個籠統去解釋另一個籠統。這里建議大家，一開端寫文章，不要抓個標題過來就開端寫。一開端寫的標題，最好是有範文的。這樣，你寫完去和範文比較，主要比較邏輯關系、論證手法、論據選擇。

寫作有沒有必要背範文呢?你要有時間有肉體背，我也不攔著你。熟讀唐詩三百首，不會做詩也能吟。你要願意多背些範文，對寫作肯定有輔佐。可是，假定從投入產出上比較背誦範文和模仿寫作，後者輔佐進步的效果應該是更快些。由於後者比前者更有針對性。你能經過寫完之後的比較，更好的發現自己寫作中或思想上的問題。

寫作有沒有必要背模板呢?基礎弱的、沒法成句的是必需求記一些的，這樣保證在考試慌張時，最少能完成寫作任務。這里大家要知道，在大多數考試評分系統中，假定一篇文章是殘篇，也就是說假定沒寫完，就算前面寫的內容再好，文采再好，扣分也是非常重的。還有同窗問我：教員，那是不是用模板寫的文章，就一定得不了高分呢?也不是。我看到過不少考試中的滿分作文也都是模板樣式的。所以大家不用刻意的去運用或逃避模板。你假定積聚到一定水平之後，自然就會練就更多的謀篇規劃的方式方法。

關於練習寫作的素材，假定是要參與某個考試，就可以選擇相關的範文從模仿寫作練起。假定是單純為了進步寫作才幹，可以用新概念來練習模仿寫作。不過比用範文練習，會更費時間。再次強調，一定得找外國人寫的原汁原味的作文範文或英語文章練習模仿寫作，把主要肉體放在謀篇規劃和句型結構的選擇上。

假定大家處於時間緊任務重的學習狀態和考試壓力下，建議大量閱讀範文和模仿寫作同步中止。在一篇範文中看到的好句子，爭取自己在下一篇的寫作中就把它用進來。
