The student union of our school is organizing an English speech contest for all students of our school. I am going to inform all of you about the details of this speech contest.
The purpose of this contest is to improve the level of oral English of our students. The contest will be held at 4 pm on 20 November and the venue will be in the auditorium on the fourth floor of the school building. As for the panel of judges, there will be five teachers who will be the judges, including Mr. Smith. Prizes will be given out to the most outstanding performers. There will be one award for the first prize, three awards for the second prize and five awards for the third prize. To enrol for this contest, please give your names to the prefects of each class. I hope all our students will take part in this contest enthusiatically.

授來人以魚不如授人以源漁,以下是寫作方法：
1、審清題意：千萬注意，題意審不好，來個文不對題，哪就……應該先花2-3分鍾看看作文題，然後在開始答基礎知識題目。
2、立好中心：至少指導自己想說什麼，是喜歡、是厭惡?是感動、是反對?是快樂，是痛苦?是哲理、是深情?是贊揚、是批評?…………用一句話把它寫在草稿紙上。
3、選好材料：符合題目要求的、自己最熟悉的、能夠寫好的事。
4、寫好提綱：(1)用一句話寫出中心內容和主題；(2)分清開頭、中間、結尾各寫什麼?(3)打好開頭、結尾的細稿，以及每段的開頭句。
接下來就是在試卷里寫作文啦，要力求一氣呵成，只要提綱和開頭、結尾、段落開頭的稿子打得好，一氣呵成事不難做到的，思路順暢了20分鍾就可以把作文寫好。
