想要培養學生良好的閱讀能力，就需要結合英語現有的文化背景知識以及閱讀材料本身相關的資料，將其進行合理的輸入與輸出，這樣就能夠加深學生對閱讀理解印象。這也就需要英語教學者在教學過程中，適當引導學生對西方文化進行學習，並且對中西方文化的差異進行對比，從而加深學生對西方文化的理解。同樣，這也需要英語教學者，能夠結合自己教學實踐經驗，抓住閱讀訓練當中的重點，從其閱讀中的重點來引導學生對西方文化進行學習。

3.2增加文化背景知識的積累意識

通過上述論文的研究，不難發現閱讀理解能力不足與文化背景知識的缺乏存在著一定關系。所以想要更好學習英語，就需要增加相應的文化背景知識。也就是說，對文化背景知識的積累在提高閱讀理解能力中起著關鍵作用。保證學生在英語基礎知識學習的同時，也需要加深學生對英語文化的學習。對英語教學者來說，一方面是可以通過加強直觀的視頻資料環境的熏陶，加深學生對西方文化的記憶。另一方面，是可以通過文化背景知識引導，來吸引學生對其文化產生興趣並進行學習。
