My hobby is reading. I read story books, magazines, newspapers and any kind of material that I find interesting. This hobby got started when I was a little boy. I had always wanted my parents to read fairy tales and other stories to me. Soon they got fed up and tired of having to read to me continually. So as soon as I could, I learned to read. Soon I could read simple fairy tales and other stories. Now I read just about anything that is available. Reading enables me to learn about so many things that I would otherwise not know. I learned about how people lived in bygone days of magic and mystery. I learned about the wonders of the world, space travel, human achievements, gigantic whales, tiny viruses and other fascinating things of our world. Books provide the reader with so much information and facts. They have certainly helped me in my daily life. I am better equipped to cope with living. Otherwise I would go about ignorantly learning things the hard way. So I continue to read. Besides being more informed about the world, I also spend my time profitably. 人們常說：人小鬼大。我雖然入學年齡小，但我一直嚴格要求自己，積極向上，關心班級，熱愛集體，入學六年來，年年被評為學校的「三好學生」、「優秀幹部」和「學習小標兵」。
我的性格活潑開朗 、 樂觀向上，是一個陽光女孩。我的學習成績優異，卻不是一個「書獃子」。通過競聘，我連續三屆當選為學校少先大隊的大隊委員及大隊長，並且積極「參政議政」， 成為 老師的得力助手。我的愛好廣泛：小提琴 、 古箏 、 乒乓球 、 舞蹈 、 聲樂 、 繪畫 、 書法等等，它們不僅使我的業餘生活多姿多彩，而且不斷增強我的自信心與榮譽感：小提琴和古箏均獲得了九級證書，在葫蘆島市首屆少兒聲樂、器樂大賽中奪得一項金獎和一項銅獎。在葫蘆島市青少年乒乓球錦標賽上取得第四名的好成績。我既是遼寧省首屆小歌手大賽的第三名，參加了遼寧電視台的演出，又獲得了葫蘆島市「故事大王」的稱號。
我喜歡讀書，歌德曾說過：「讀書是和高尚的人談話。」 高爾基爺爺也告訴我們：「熱愛書籍吧，因為它是知識的源泉。」我在學齡前就開始閱讀兒童版的「四大名著」，在媽媽的引導下，我正在鑽研兒童版的《資治通鑒》和《論語》。我也喜歡英語，要「瀟灑走世界」，當然少不了這個法寶。我還是葫蘆島市廣播電台「少兒芳草地」欄目的特約小記者，每周都要到電台錄制節目。
雖然眾多的愛好和社會活動擠佔了我的大部分業余時間， 但是這並沒有成為我停滯不前的借口。「書山有路勤為徑」，我不僅各科成績在學校名列前茅，還在 2005 年全國小學生奧林匹克英語競賽中一舉奪魁，獲得一等獎。對了，中英文演講也是我的強項，每次都是前兩名，了不起吧！
我每時每刻都對自己充滿信心，雖然取得了不少成績，但從不驕傲。我很善於交流，也喜歡交朋友；我喜歡音樂，也喜愛小品；我喜歡卡通，也喜愛武俠；我既看還珠格格，也看法制在線 …… 唉！我真是一個矛盾的多面體。不過，這樣你們大家才能看到一個多姿多彩的我啊！
今年我已是畢業班的學生了，學習任務會更加繁重，但是我仍然會滿懷熱情地承擔起少先大隊大隊長的重擔，用我的聰明才智為實驗二小錦上添花，讓同學們的校園活動更加豐富多彩！

My name is Liu Shuaiyi, a smart girl full of sunshine. I was given
such a beautiful name by my parents because they expect that I will have a wonderful trip around the world with knowledge and talent.
「Little girl with great mind 」. I won many honorable titles in the past years though I went to primary school at the age of six. For my positive attitude towards life, caring about the class and collective, I was selected as 「Excellent student of Morality, Intelligence and physical Ecation」,「Excellent Students''Leader」, and 「Study model」 and 「Flagman」.
I have broad—minded ,optimistic character and high 好prehensive qualities. By election, I was chosen as the chief of Young Pioneer 好mittee. I participate 「School affairs」 actively and be好e the best assistant of the teachers. My hobbies are various and I spend much of my spare time on violin, zither, table tennis, dance, music, painting and calligraphy. Besides my learning, I also made great achievements on my hobbies . I have won the toppest certificates of violin and zither , fourth of table tennis match, third of singing 好petition in LiaoNing province . With the help of my mother, I have read many classics of Chinese literature, which made me gain 「The King of story-teller」 of Hulu city. I work as a little journalist for 「Fragrant Grassland」 programme of Hulu Broadeasting Station. Of course, English is my favourite, for I want to be an international person in the future ,so English is the bridge linking the outside world. I won the first in the National Olympic English Competition.
I am confident that I will work hard and do more contribution to our school in the final year of primary school and make our campus life colorful.

My life is colorful, so I have a lot of hobbies. Piano, dancing, drawing, etc.. But my favorite is the painting. First, I started painting from the year-old, know. The picture describes an interesting phenomenon. When a student is reading his textbook, what flashes in his mind is a scene of fighting between two martial arts fighters. Last year, the compiling group of the Chinese textbooks made a decision that some parts of a marital arts novel would be selected as one of the texts. This has sparked off a heated debate. Some say that it is a new idea to do so. The martial arts novels are a new genre of literature and should be included in the textbook. Some others are strongly against this decision. They say it will do no good to students because they will think about nothing but fighting and revenge when they read this kind of novels.
In my opinion, it is not reasonable to select such texts. Firstly, the main theme of these novels is revenge. To all the characters, not for a minute was revenge forgotten. The purpose of their life is to seek revenge. Secondly, the characters do nothing but fight with each other. They needn』t make a living. Their main job is to find someone to fight with. Thirdly, there are all kinds of factions in the novels. People are always belonging to a kind of faction. Students who have not established their values and outlook of life will be affected by these ideas. They may imitate the characters and do some bad things.
Therefore, these novels should be removed from the textbook. Some good materials should be selected to instruct the students and help them to form the correct outlook of life. They can benefit from the selection for his whole life.
