不會因為選的教材不同而對英語成績有所影響，因為教材所包含的主題和涉及的難度差距沒有那麼大。但是學校能不能把教材上的東西讓學生學透了，就會對英語成績有影響了。
所以感覺還是得看學校，看老師，看家長的重視程度。
一套書常見六個單元，涉及衣食住行、愛好、工作、愛情等各個方面。難度增加很緩慢，特別適合零基礎學生建立信心。
每個單元的內容都可以活學活用，每本書配套練習冊，包含聽力練習。針對中國學生聽力差，練習一開始的難度很低。很多學生做聽力覺得難，是因為聽的內容遠超出自己水平，最後被打擊到放棄。
還有學口語，目前最好的教材是《劍橋國際英語教程》，非常地道的美式表達，一共四本書，一本16個單元，主題也涉及生活方方面面，非常豐富。學完四本如果掌握得好，雅思口語8分沒問題，我很熟練的掌握了前三本而已，口語7分。
