At last this young man got out at a station with his two heavy bags. None of the other passengers helped him, but one of them waited until the rude young man was very far away and then opened the window and shouted to him, "You left something behind in the compartment!" The young man truned around and hurried back with his two bags. He was very tired when he arrived, but he shouted through the window, "What did I leave behind?" 最動聽的歌
There was once a lonely girl who longed so much for love. One day while she was walking in thewoods she found two starving songbirds.
從前，有個孤單的女孩十分期待愛。有一天，在叢林里渣族散步的時候，她發現了兩只餓得奄奄一息的小鳥。。
She took them home and put them in a small cage. She cared them with love and the birds grew strong.

Every morning they greeted her with a wonderful song. The girl felt great love for the birds.

One day the girl left the door to the cage open. The larger and stronger of the two birds flewfrom the cage.
一天，小女孩打開了鳥籠。那隻較大的鳥兒便飛了出來。女孩兒十分擔心鳥兒會飛走。
The girl was so frightened that he would fly away. As he flew close, she grasped him wildly. Herheart felt glad at her success in capturing him.
當鳥兒飛過來時，小女孩便緊緊地把它抓在手中。捉到鳥兒後，女孩感到非常高興。
Suddenly she felt the bird go limp. She opened her hand and stared in horror at the dead bird.Her desperate love had killed him.
突然間，她覺得手中的鳥兒漸漸沒了氣力。她趕緊松開緊握的雙手，並驚恐地看著已死去的鳥兒。女孩意識到是自己不顧一切的愛害死了它。
She noticed the other bird moving back and forth on the edge of the cage.
剛好在這時，另一隻鳥兒在籠子里正用力地扇著翅膀。
She could feel his great need for freedom. He needed to soar into the clear, blue sky.
女孩深切地體會到它對自由的無限嚮往——它希望在藍藍的天空中自由飛翔。
She lifted him from the cage and tossed him softly into the air. The bird circled once, twice,three times.
女孩把鳥兒從籠中拿了出來，並用雙手將鳥兒托起，輕輕地拋向空中。鳥兒在空中盤旋著，一圈，兩圈，三圈……
The girl watched delightedly at the bird's enjoyment. Her heart was no longer concerned withher loss.
女孩看著鳥兒快樂的樣子感到高興極了。她已經沒有時間去在意失去的東西，只是祝願鳥兒能夠幸福。
She wanted the bird to be happy. Suddenly the bird flew closer and landed softly on hershoulder. It sang the sweetest melody that she had ever heard.
突然間，鳥兒飛了過來，輕輕地落在她的肩上。鳥兒唱起了女孩所聽過的最動聽的歌。

A man was going to the house of some rich person. As he went along the road, he saw a box of good apples at the side of the road. He said, "I do not want to eat those apples; for the rich man will give me much food; he will give me very nice food to eat." Then he took the apples and threw them away into the st.
He went on and came to a river. The river had become very big; so he could not go over it. He waited for some time; then he said, "I cannot go to the rich man's house today, for I cannot get over the river."
He began to go home. He had eaten no food that day. He began to want food. He came to the apples, and he was glad to take them out of the st and eat them.
Do not throw good things away; you may be glad to have them at some other time.

一個人正朝著一個富人的房子走去，當他沿著路走時，在路的一邊他發現一箱好蘋果，他說：「我不打算吃那些蘋果，因為富人會給我更多的食物，他會給我很好吃的東西。」然後他拿起蘋果，一把扔到土裡去。
他繼續走，來到河邊，河漲水了，因此，他到不了河對岸，他等了一會兒，然後他說：「今天我去不了富人家了，因為我不能渡過河。」
他開始回家，那天他沒有吃東西。他就開始去找吃的，他找到蘋果，很高興地把它們從塵土中翻出來吃了。
