一 、邊欣賞圖邊聆聽階段
為了充分調動學生的積極性和好奇心，把小本的原版英語兒童繪本放大，做成了色彩絢麗，圖畫優美的超級大書，絕對是小朋友在平時的生活中見不到的形式。然後由我帶領學生一起讀故事，並播放繪本故事的原音音頻。我用誇張的語言和表情演繹，加上原聲抑揚頓挫的語調，把學生們徹底帶進故事當中。當我把幻燈片放給學生看時，學生們一下就被圖片所吸引，即使在聽的過程中孩子有些不認識的單詞，那也不會成為孩子閱讀理解文章的絆腳石。通過栩栩如生的圖片學生可以自己去猜單詞，意會單詞，從而理解文章的意義。繪本的神奇就在於它的的畫面和它的語言，沒有任何語言上的障礙。在講到

表演要出色，就要模仿原版的英文發音和技巧。小學生是最善於模仿的，大家輪流模仿的時候，其他人已經差不多會背誦了。然後由老師分配同學們所表演的繪本角色，並戴上自製的簡單頭飾，配飾。通過角色表演，將整個繪本故事用英語演繹出來，排演出一部非常好看的繪本兒童劇。
三、 自己編故事結局
孩子的可貴之處在於天馬行空的想像，有了想像力，才有創造力。想像在續寫繪本中起重要作用，離開想像不可能續寫好的結尾，而想像的運用離不開生活經驗。
