2、注意培養孩子根據上下文猜詞的能力。

(3)分析生詞的`構成，尤其是詞的前綴和後綴。英語中很多詞都是加前綴和後綴而來的。比如根據前綴un-和後綴-ty的含義，你就可以准確地猜出unhappy和safety的意思。

(4)看看同一生詞是否在上下文的其他地方出現，把兩處的語境相比較，也許更能准確地猜出詞義。

(5)充分利用你閱讀內容中已有的知識。利用文中所附的插圖等直觀線索猜測詞義

3、認真仔細地閱讀文章，掌握文章的中心思想、主要內容以及與之有關的細節。
