The Incredibles is a funny and smartly written family film. Fifteen years after giving up as the superhero Mr. Incredible, Bob Parr lives a normal civilian life with his wife and three kids. When I saw the preview for this I thought it looked terrible but its actually quite enjoyable to watch. The Incredibles isn't just for kids its also a treat for alts to watch. Brad Bird scores again after making a great family film {The Iron Giant}, he makes another one that's better. The movie looks and sounds amazing as well. The cast is strong but they are not big draws except for Jackson. Craig T. Nelson plays Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter plays his wife and Samuel L. Jackson plays a fellow superhero called Frozone. The characters are very funny and enjoyable to watch as well. This film is a bit more violent then previous Pixar films though since there's a lot of explosions. The Incredibles is also two hours long but you shouldn't get bored of it since its pretty exciting to watch. Usually kid films leave out the alts but Pixar wants their whole audience to enjoy and this one is no different then Finding Nemo or Toy Story. So pretty much if you liked Pixar previous work then you should like this one as well. It defiantly deserved that Oscar it won and for me it was the second best family film I have seen this year. The Pixar films are usually exciting and visually attractive and this one is no different. It is a very good family film that everyone can enjoy.
